The owners were on leave but their friendly daughter and a neighbor welcomed us and also checked a couple of times whether they could assist with anything. We found the two-bedroom apartment pleasantly spacious, spotless and neat and the kitchen is well-equipped.
The neighborhood is quiet, but you do hear the traffic passing on the R102 about 300, 400 meters away, plus due to a technical glitch with the solar geyser the warm water temperature never went above 31C, but it was sort... Our current backlog needs to be cleared so that these customers can receive their orders in time for Christmas. We did not really want to do this, but we felt it was the only way we could get caught up and not disappoint customers who have trusted us with their Christmas shopping this year.
We are open for walk in shopping (masks are mandatory), online shipping (through Canada Post), and curbside pick up is also still available. 07/07/2020 We are back open to the public, however, face masks are MANDATORY when entering our shop.
05/17/2021 We could not be more excited to be selling Farrell Famous soda bread mix. @thegeorgestreetdiner has been a staple in Toronto for a lot of Irish to go and get their fix of a fry and soda bread.
With our new normal, the diner had to close for now but the lovely owner, Ash, had made her famous soda bread mix available for past fans and new fans to enjoy. Not only is this a Canadian made product, but it helps out another small business owner.
Enjoy the day as best you can but please, practice physical distancing! 04/02/2020 We just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their support online and with our “click & collect” orders.
Due to overwhelming demand we are working overtime to get everyone's order shipped out, which may mean a delay of a day or so. 03/27/2021 It has only been a couple of days but the new curbside version of our Click & Collect pickup has proved very popular with local shoppers.
One reason might be that we added most of our frozen and refrigerated items to our online store. Now you can get your sausages, rashers, pies and cheeses just as easy as the other 2000+ products we sell.
Help pass the days of physical distancing with some good comfort grub from A Bit of Home. 03/24/2021 With things changing daily, we have decided it is time to close our retail store.
We will still be fulfilling online orders for both shipping and curbside pick up. Please go to our website for details www.abitofhome.ca As always, we appreciate everyone's understanding at this time, and we will hopefully be full speed soon.
Our online store has been really busy, and we encourage as many people as possible to use it. For local shoppers, our free Click & Collect pickup is a great option because we will have your order ready for you in less than 24hrs, and you can always have a quick shop in the freezers when you pop in.
By buying this product you can collect up to 5 loyalty points. 01/30/2021 MMM...nothing like a little afternoon pick me up with #coffee & #cadburydairymilk Check out our online shop for our full range of #Cadbury chocolate.
