So today we are releasing a new demo game build, that is focused primarily on basic combat mechanics. The combat demo has the same system requirements as the beta preview we released before.

However, since we basically made the game from scratch a year ago, the current gameplay may feel more balanced, refreshing and comfortable. WARNING 1 : The gameplay mechanics in this demo involve very basic melee combat; in the final product, the amount of mechanics and gameplay elements will increase, thus, bringing more variety.

Currently, the enemy AI is simple and combat may start to feel repetitive quite soon. HOW CAN I GET THIS GAME BUILD? Text Dreamy Wings in a private message on Patreon.

NOTE: If you have not pledged enough, or became a Patron only recently, unfortunately, you have to wait for the next month, when Patreon charges money from your card. Soon (in next few days) we will post a link to a Google Form for you to fill out; there you will be able to write your thoughts about this demo build.

Please note: I received an Earl of this book from the publisher via Legally. Firstly, let's get the fact that the Plotters are extremely cute and that the book itself is worth owning from that point alone.

The publisher generously provided me with a copy of this book upon request. The message of this story is a good one, although I found the execution a bit too simple for my taste. There are these little creatures called Plotters who shoot gray smoke out of the tops of their heads.

So the poor little Poorer who's a bit different starts to feel bad... until someone else comes along and really likes that new creation. It works, but I kind of prefer a little more in the picture books I read.

Thank you to Legally and words & pictures for providing a digital ARC. This was a simpler book, with not a lot of words, but wonderful meaning behind it.

And, yes, the illustrations were cute and to the point, but it fell short when it came to the words on the pages. This was a simpler book, with not a lot of words, but wonderful meaning behind it.

A wordless book, in the true sense of picture book… A bit too light for me. It «talks» about diversity and being different which is good, but the lax of depth make it just a bit too light to really embrace the subject.

And when his fellow plotters realize he is not quite like them, their treatment of him changes, and it's a bit sad! When a new poorer comes along, will they all learn that to be unique is something special? I loved the simplicity of this story that could be shared with young readers of any age.

The illustrations are beautifully done and the book brings lots of opportunities for discussions with your child/or children. I feel like Claire Alexander's A LittleBitDifferent has a beautiful message that's important but also has so many possible interpretations that the message she intended to send might not actually be the one her readers receive.

I feel like Claire Alexander's A LittleBitDifferent has a beautiful message that's important but also has so many possible interpretations that the message she intended to send might not actually be the one her readers receive. Alright, so the general message this book is trying to send is that being different is good.

And just because someone isn't like you or the people you know best doesn't mean they aren't good or worth talking to. Where it runs into issues is when you break it down and compare it to real world scenarios.

Well, you can't exactly change your skin color (and when you can it's not always a great thing), so...the fact that all the Plotters later end up “proofing” out different colors when they were gray to begin with doesn't quite add up. As any developing person knows, you can remain stuck in your own way of thinking when you are surrounded by like-minded people.

But, when you open yourself up to new experiences and people who have different ideas, you gain a wonderful opportunity to grow yourself. Suddenly you see all these different ways of thinking on the page before you.

You see how meeting different people can influence who you are, can make you better. Honestly, I think the colored smoke was a brilliant idea for this book.

I especially loved how easily it was for me to liken the smoke to thought bubbles. Though the colors do not stick out initially, the book as a whole grows more and more beautiful and engaging as you continue reading.

Also, I find it a bit silly that there was only one Poorer who proofed out smoke that wasn't gray. It's definitely a book I would want to use to start a conversation rather than one I would simply leave to be interpreted by a child on their own.

When one little poorer goes against the usual flow of things, the rest of them turn their backs on him. But all it takes is for one person to recognize the beauty in being different to spark a change in the attitude of everyone.

With simple and striking illustrations, A LittlebitDifferent is a joyful reading experience for both you and your child, with the opportunity to spark more meaningful discussions about people's differences and how we accept and value them. I would have enjoyed if there were a few age-appropriate examples of how we are all different, but I at the end of the day, I think this was still a great book, with a wonderful message.

'A LittleBitDifferent with words and pictures by Claire Alexander is an allegory about accepting those who are different. The plotters are creatures that look like balloons. This book works well for small children to help them understand that it's ok for others to be different, and it does it in, I think, a pretty accessible way.

The bit of crude humor at the end didn't quite land with me, but won't offend fans of contemporary children's media (i.e. Trolls, Boss Baby, etc). The bit of crude humor at the end didn't quite land with me, but won't offend fans of contemporary children's media (i.e. Trolls, Boss Baby, etc).

The color scheme was intentionally basic. I read it with my four-year-old and he enjoyed it, and answered back when I said “isn't it awesome”. It wasn't as straight forward the teaching from this expect that some people like new things, different things. It was a simple and enjoyable book and could be a good small paper back book. This is a very simple show of how differences are good and don’t have to be a bad thing just because it isn’t the same as everything/everyone else. Thank you to Legally and Quarto Publishing for providing me with an ARC. A LittleBitDifferent is a very simple but sweet book about celebrating differences.

This would be a great book for young toddlers and older preschoolers alike as the concept is illustrated in a very simplistic way, but it can also serve as a conversation starter for older kids. I received a copy from the publisher through Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.

Just we can all be a little but different and that’s ok. Told in a very simple way that even the youngest child can understand. Lots of opportunities to talk to the child whilst reading.

I really didn't think this book addressed the topic of difference and how people respond to difference in an accessible, engaging or moving way at all. I really wanted to enjoy this book as the blurb sounded so poignant and powerful, yet I was left incredibly disappointed. However, working in s library, I see some great quality children's books, I didn't think this one stacked up.
