Plus, because Rogue only deals locally with their manufacturing, they can test and launch new products in a matter of days. This is why Rogues customers prefer them because they know that their equipment will last a lifetime, and they aren’t buying second best.
He started it by himself in his garage and 4 years later set a goal to build a 500-person team. Since that time, Rogue has purchased over 30 acres and built a massive $50 million Headquarters and campus.
As you can see, Rogue has the numbers and space to create massive amounts of equipment. As you could see from the size of Rogues’ operation and just how much effort they put into their products, quality control isn’t something you have to worry about.
I’ve looked up tons of comments and reviews worldwide, and the one thing that is never a complaint is how great Rogue’s products are. The welds and finish on all of their products are incredible, none of the equipment breaks down, and they’re just a cut above the rest.
I’ve seen numerous secondhand market Rogue equipment sell for damn near the same price as new. The crazy thing is a lot of these have been used a ton, but because it’s Rogue, the quality of the products just doesn’t go down at all.
If you want to get a newer and bigger rack from Rogue, you can sell your old one without worrying about losing from your investment. It’s actually a huge list that’s pretty exhaustive, so I’ll link a screenshot below of their general warranty.
They responded quickly, saying that they would create a return shipping label for them using Rogue’s rate of around $38. His package was lost, and it could take up to 8 business days to resolve the whole situation.
This is stupid, and I know from experience how annoying it can be to get a refund when our postal services mysteriously lose massive packages like this. Well, Bob was pissed obviously and called UPS multiple times over the following 3 weeks.
Bob is pissed and wants nothing more than to destroy UPS for their lackadaisical customer support and complete disregard for people’s hard-earned money. This, combined with all the points made above, proves that Rogue Fitness is absolutely worth the money.
They care about their customers, continue to improve their products, and their quality is just on a completely different level. Especially compared to crappy entry-level budget equipment made by no-names trying to make a quick buck without giving a single fuck about the people they’re selling to.
Obviously, if Rogue knocked it out of the park on craftsmanship, build quality, customer service, and literally everything else that makes a company great, they have one negative. If they sold a bunch of flimsy benches and power racks made of aluminum foil, it would be easy to offer free shipping.
If you have a low budget and need to save as much as possible, I still would recommend getting at least a Rogue barbell and rack if you can afford it. Just don’t buy on Amazon from no-name brands trying to make cheap crap for easy money.
Suppose the only negative thing you can say about Rogue is that they offer premium products that cost a ton of money. Just know that Rogue is definitely worth saving up for and investing in better, higher quality equipment.
This guide will be broken up into different sections focused on barbells, benches, power racks, and more! On top of that, I’ll go over their best, runner-up, and budget options, so you can make the right choice for your own financial situation.
This elasticity gives Olympic lifters an advantage during the snatch and clean and jerk. The biggest factor is that Olympic bars have to withstand the force of repeated drops from overhead positions.
The final design combines a stainless steel, 200,000 PSI tensile strength shafts with 10 quality needle bearings and a choice of chrome-plated or stainless steel sleeves (the all-stainless Parrot Bar is the top-end 28 mm barbell that Rogue now produces). This allows for a better grip on the bar while also making the lifter feel more connected to the weight. Buy Now Learn More We earn a commission if you click this link and make a purchase at no additional cost to you.
However, that being said, this bar is great for intermediate lifters that want the same feel of using a competition style Olympic barbell. The final difference that definitely matters, especially for the Squat, is the center knurling power bars provide.
Definitely a good feature to give you that extra bit of security while moving heavy weights. One of the main positives about power bars is that they’re generally a bit cheaper than Olympic barbells, which is always a plus on a tight budget.
200,000 PSI Tensile Strength with a snap-ring design featuring bronze bushings for a smooth feel. Aggressive knurling that gives you a superior grip without being sharp and destroying your hands.
The bar’s knurl pattern is deep and coarse without being sharp or abrasive, and the 29MM shaft diameter and high tensile strength result in little to no flex or whip. This makes the Ohio Power Bar a perfectly honed workhorse for the bench, squat, and deadlift.

These bars may have minor cosmetic issues such as finish blemishes or inconsistencies with the knurl. Buy Now Learn More We earn a commission if you click this link and make a purchase at no additional cost to you.
They aren’t always in stock, but the best part about boneyard bars is just how cheap some of them can be for a very simple reason. They’re called “boneyard bars” simply because they have all of Rogue’s standard barbells durability and longevity with tiny cosmetic issues.
These could be finish blemishes, knurling inconsistencies, or any flaw they deem worthy of being added to the Boneyard. Dual knurl marks that help you find your grip width if you do a variety of exercises.
They also have moderate whip, so you can still do cleans and snatches with some stiffness for squats, overhead presses, and more. The medium knurling is nice for those that are interested in doing higher reps for things like CrossFit.

For intense, high-rep training, these bushings dramatically minimize friction to both provide a reliable spin and help extend the shelf life of the bar itself. Buy Now Learn More We earn a commission if you click this link and make a purchase at no additional cost to you.
This bar also has the black zinc finish on the shaft, which always looks nice and holds up well over time. This bar’s main feature is that it uses composite bushing, which contains a self-lubricating material that they actually use in military and aerospace equipment.
Which is totally over the top and awesome for barbell tech, but it’s Rogue, so it makes sense. This is one of the best bars of its kind for those interested in powerlifting, Olympic lifting, and/or CrossFit training.

This includes the Rogue Echo Power Racks, Squat Stands, Bumper Plates, and more! Specialty bars are a great way to work around injuries or introduce different variations to continue building strength and muscle for life.
Another example is taller or beginner lifters having trouble setting up with a conventional or sumo deadlift. Buy Now Learn More We earn a commission if you click this link and make a purchase at no additional cost to you.
It’s also a lot easier on your shoulders and back as the foam pads and handles allow you to keep your arms in a neutral position in front of your body. For people that have jacked up shoulders, this is a great thing and something that Rogue’s Safety Squat Bar allows you to workaround.
Both sets of knurled, parallel handles measure 1.34” in diameter and are spaced 25” on center. Buy Now Learn More We earn a commission if you click this link and make a purchase at no additional cost to you.
It’s definitely superior for beginners and taller lifters as it allows you to set up quickly and get stronger pulling from the floor without over-correcting you're positioning every rep. The TB-2 Trap Bar is fantastic with its high and low handles, which allow taller lifters to Deadlift from a more comfortable position.
This type of bar can be greatly beneficial in reducing stress on the wrists and shoulders during press movements, as well as strengthening the triceps for better lockouts. Buy Now Learn More We earn a commission if you click this link and make a purchase at no additional cost to you.
The great thing about Multi-Grip, or Football bars as they’re sometimes called, is that they allow people with banged up shoulders to press pain-free. Also, unlike many other Swiss, football, and multi-grip barbells out there, all of Rogue’s are trackable on Power Racks.
This bar is also finished with Rogues black powder coat, so it looks beautiful and performs great as well. Buy Now Learn More We earn a commission if you click this link and make a purchase at no additional cost to you.
You can pick different bench heights, pad widths, and even select a stainless steel handle if you’re super basic. Rogue has multiple adjustable options, but unfortunately, I think they’re one of the things that they sell that I can’t really recommend due to the price. It’s too expensive and shouldn’t cost more than a budget Power Rack, plates, and a bar combined.
It’s well-made and just as durable as the more expensive option while having an easily adjustable system in place. If you’re looking to build a commercial gym, you’ll definitely need some dumbbells, and Rogue has a couple of options.
This standard rubber hex design is a great, budget-priced option that still delivers on quality, performance, and longevity. The heavy-duty, rubber-encased heads minimize noise and limit wear and tear (to both the bells and you're flooring), while the chrome-plated handle is ergonomically designed for a firm but comfortable feel in any grip style.

As long as you don’t buy crappy bumper plates without a steel core or weights filled with water or sand, you’re probably going to be fine. Rogue Color LB Training 2.0 Plates Updated with new artwork and a gloss-matte-gloss finish, Rogue Color LB Training 2.0 Plates are an IWF standard 450MM in diameter, with a narrow width that allows for more weight to be loaded on the bar.

They have a minimal bounce while dropping them, and unlike crappier plates out there, they aren’t going to break down from frequent use. You can get these plates individually or in sets, and Rogue even offers free shipping on them, which is a huge saving without a doubt.
The best part is that these plates are only priced at around $2 per lb, definitely a great deal with the free shipping. Rogue Black Olympic Plates are simple, classic, and tough enough for daily abuse.

These plates are under $2 per lb, which is an incredible deal considering just how much they’ve been inflated this year. Rogue is the best in the business and has a ton of awesome equipment that I just don’t have the time to go over in one article alone.
