The FT dramatically expand the part of the face that moves the golf balls. Tungsten steel is the key to more precise control of CG location.

Callaway Rogue is the right choice for a reasonable distance that offers you an average of 7 yards. Its thin and sharp base features Wearable-Face Technology to accelerate the expansion of the facial area.

Callaway iron is significantly lighter, longer, stronger lofts as compared to standard. Rogue, Rogue is light and will support you for a long time.

Wide sole pulls the CG low and deep for easy, high launch and long carry. The face-cup employs a shallow, Flexible-Rim around the circumference of the face that influences to increase the speed of the ball.

FT also affects how the face-flexes itself to promote higher ball speed on off-center shots. Tungsten-Weighting promotes optimal projection and control on each accuracy scaffold.

Tungsten is twice as heavy as steel, so concentrates significant weight into a small-space as part-of a complex shape, which is important for properly controlling the CG space. Callaway Rogue is a suitable option for the professional golfer who calls it a short spin with long-distance in their golf course.

It provides a long shaft with a strong scaffolding and excellent performance. Its 360 face incorporates a shallow and adjustable rim that, in effect, releases both flexes and increases ball velocity.

Callaway says the lighter, stronger, longer trend has spread over from Japan, so Rogue are specifically created to perform at average and above-average swing speeds. Callaway says the new faces deliver more distance than an updated XR style could have provided.

With the Rogue irons, Callaway’s Iron-face has a different thickness pattern that Rockwell says is more energetic, resulting in more ball velocity, especially on mishits low in the face. The RogueXirons have a noticeable off-set, thick top line and sole, but a better feel and sound than many game improvement irons due to the Urethane-Mircocpheres in the cavity.

Rogue is lighter and longer, with stronger lofts compared to the Rogue Standard. Its wide sole pulls the Center of Gravity lower and deeper to create an easier, higher launch and longer carry.

Having the 360 Face Cup expanding the hitting area, it also offers more forgiveness compared to the standard Callaway Rogue irons. Rogue X’s tungsten weight allows you to position the CG in each of the long irons with extraordinary precision and promotes optimum launch and control at each individual loft.

Its elastic-urethane microspheres technology which provides the sound and feel benefits of urethane without compromising COR or ball speed. If you are a player with a high handicap and low swing speed, then you can’t be convinced to go for any other game improvement iron after you have given Rogue a try.

The combination of lighter, longer shaft with a stronger loft unlocked RogueX’s superb performance. Its 360 Face Cup incorporates a shallow and flexible rim which both flexes and releases at impact and increases ball speed.

This heavier tungsten weight can be significantly used in a small space to control CG location precisely for each iron. Because of its spread over a larger area than the standard model, ball speeds from off-centre hits can be maintained more easily.

FT technology creates expansion of face portion which allows you more distance on off-centre hits. I personally recommend high handicapped players to go for the Rogue as it delivers more distance at off center shots and slower swings.

You’ll find the weight of Callaway Rogue extremely light compared to their standard models. The upside of RogueX’s thin club face is a faster ball speed and more distance and the downside is excessive vibration which generates an unpleasant sound and feel.

Urethane can be used to dampen vibration to improve sound and feel, but it can also greatly reduce the face’s ability to flex, lowering COR and ball speed. But Callaway Rogue’s elastic-urethane microspheres provides the sound and feel benefits of urethane without compromising COR or ball speed.

In fact, the numbers these irons are available in also play a huge role behind them is so important. If the iron you choose is not right for you then you will not be able to get the desired results out of the game.

Callaway Rogue combines these two features to aid better ball speed and long-distance. The Face Cup Features actually is the rim around the perimeter of the club face that flexes to give the ball the necessary speed.

Apparently, it focuses on the places where the face cup flexes. Callaway has made the club face thin to reduce the overall weight to some extent.

As the club face is thin, in contact with the ball, the face will vibrate even more. It won’t create the same click as other golf balls do when they hit the club face.

Callaway has infused innovation in the design of the iron. The Urethane has a layer underneath the club face that has air chambers.

These chambers absorb some vibrations and prevent it from spreading. However, many golfers still complain that this rogue iron does not create that satisfying click sound on contact.

Apparently, the Callaway RogueXirons have a Tungsten weighing system. Tungsten is actually quite a heavy metal- at least heavier than stainless steel.

Thus, the weight it contributes to the club head is significant but concentrated in one place. So, you can say the center of gravity is low and deep in this case.

A common complaint that most people have about this series is that the irons are quite heavy. But, yes, the shafts are long enough to improve the distance of the ball.

The Cup Face design makes the iron quite forgiving. The Tungsten weight makes the CG low and deep, improving the power of the iron.

The heavier weight actually improves distance to some extent. Plus, you can choose from the three flexes as well- Regular, Stiff, and senior.

Also, making the soles slightly more comprehensive so that the Cog can be evermore in-depth, progressing the launch angle off the face. The Callaway RogueXIrons are wonderful with a clever build design.

The offset is greater and the sole has a raised trailing edge to get the weight further back without getting in the way at impact. Yes, it is a little on the hollow side, especially in the longer irons, but the introduction of Urethane Microspheres helps modify the vibrations and makes it sound better than the Steel head XR.

This is an urethane material that is inserted into the cavity behind the face and contains spheres that become air pockets to absorb any unwanted sounds and improve the feel, and they do well at this. If you didn't do this then the faster ball speed of the Roque X would send the higher lofted 6-iron into orbit, like an 8-iron would.

Clearly for mid to low swing speed players, the greater speed and forgiveness from the Rogue should help their mid to long iron play and as long as they get the gaps right at the shorter end by going down to the 51° G wedge then they should be fine. The Rogue are the same price as the standard Rogue irons, which means towards the top end for a distance iron.
