IDK about Eve, but for PVP you have to learn when to pop your coolies and when to save em for emergencies. Some advice I got from someone is not do your opener from stealth using cheap shot, use parrot instead.

Cause you wanna save your stun for the full 6 sec kidney shot. Probably middle of the pack in terms of difficulty, there’s no specific mechanic or mini-game in the rotation that makes it particularly difficult compared to any other class.

All you have to do is apply bleeds and save toxic blades for kidney. Along as you don’t kidney off CD or on Dr you will be fine.

Save cheap shot for the first vanish … Still have kidney for burst or to extend it. Garrote and Rupture make up a significant portion of damage, as well as generating Energy for you to use other abilities.

After a 2-year-long break I hopped back on and rolled another Rogue to 120. I haven’t really bothered with any other class since. Im not the best at MMORPGs but I feel comfortable with my class and its mechanics.

What happens to internal bleeding with DR when KS is cut short. That’s About the only real difference, and if you look closely at all the other classes they’re done variant of RET paladin or Warrior.

Even wizard’s and healers are not immune to the homogenized game play. It's fairly easy to learn, but roll the bones is super annoying.

You can help WWII by editing this article to use a neutral point of view. Rogues are hard to play, and it requires something that most other classes do not need.

If you played a rogue but yet don't know what you are doing wrong, then this guide was made for you. You can also read this to learn how to fight a rogue by knowing their main moves in battle.

I hate it when someone comes on to the party, raid, or just questing with me and says, “Duh, you know Night stalker is better than Shadow Focus, right? You can play as a killer, where you pick a target and dish out a lot of DPs to kill it before moving on to the next one.

If you play your cards right you will never run out of energy and therefore can do whatever skill you want to do whenever, so long you have points on the target. The cards you need is being higher than level 50 (I believe) and have Slice and Dice on.

You see, when you turn a certain level you learn a passive ability that lets Slice and Dice increase your energy regent in battle. This class focus on using daggers, if you use maces, swords, or fist weapons than you will be loosing a lot of passive buffs.

Daggers are weak, but Assassin has a lot of buffs to make them good as or better as the other one handed weapons you can use. Combat is great for Eve but is terrible in PVP due to the damage you do and the energy regent hey have.

Abilities like Blade Flurry and Killing Spree makes this spec stand out quite a bit. Sadly even if they get a 20% energy regent at a low level, having Blade Flurry on will cancel this effect.

Also, the class is more accepting to the off hand damage with the buffs it gives. This is very desirable since off hand weapons have a reduce of damage with all classes.

Whereas Night stalker is better for Subtlety than Assassin since it increases your stealth speed and ambush damage. Most people see Rogues are these weak little guys that can't dish out damage when needed when others see them as overpowered one hit kill kind of class.

Depending on the gear you have and how you play your class, you will get a different result to another rogue. This is mostly due to the part that when a rogue sees an enemy with low hp, they can use Cloak and Daggers to port behind him and do Ambush at the same time, resulting in a kill.

If you do this to someone that has full health then you will be in a real battle and may die if you are not careful. The only times you win is if you battle a lower item level gear player.

I know that a lot of people who play tanks or plated geared classes will call rogues wimps for running away in battle. There is nothing honorable about dying and rogues cannot take in damage like mail or plated classes.

Even Druids and Monks have a skill that increases their armor value to plate gear, but rogues don't have anything like that. So don't be shame if you had to vanish before that warrior shield bashed you or if a hunter is firing too many arrows at your face.

In PVP in the Eye of the Storm a Shaman had the flag and pushed me off the hill to the bottom. Mages cannot heal themselves unless they have first aided or race ability and most of their skills are quite useless against a rogue.

If the mage freezes himself in an ice block use this time to vanish and wait. A lot of players have AOE skills that can make you come out of your stealth and others know where to run to if they are looking for a rogue.

There are a lot of stuff around you that can help you hide, you just need to find them and use them right. A lot of players know that rogues are in the corner to their left and will sometimes throw an AOE at the flag.

I know this cannot be used in Battlegrounds but in the outside world if you are facing a group of 5 hunting you down because you killed their healer, it is better to get out of that area. I used that trick a few times to help out a friend that is being stalked by an enemy player that has heirloom gear on.

They will be waiting in a town thinking they are safe and boom, they are dead and no one is there. Herald of the Titans I started play WoW around 3 months before TBC went live.

Since Mop I was playing very casually because my guild disbanded, and I did not bother to transfer. I very was often thinking about new mains before each expansion, I was always torn between warrior, warlock, mage, DK and maybe hunter.

I got into beta around 3-4 weeks ago, so I started few classes/specs to get artifact and check how it plays in dungeon/world. I found havoc pretty fun but I'm missing some sort of pro or mechanic that change the gameplay bit.

When I finished testing havoc (got to LVL 104, I don't want to spoil too much) I created rogue and I have no idea even why. Got the assassination artifact, picked few talents and did not even care if they are optimal, went to some guide to have a basic idea what have the highest priority and started hitting dummy.

But numbers are not important ATM, for some reason I fall in love with assassination. I love to watch bleeds, when to refresh them, when to use DPS cooldowns etc.

Blood sail Admiral I also boosted a rogue, and playing assassination right now. Personally I'm not a dot fan, but I do like this better than subtlety (sub is a bid awkward to play IMO, and I don't like having to position in the back of the boss) anyway.

Nope, after they destroyed the complexity of subtitle, it ain't hard to master It has been that way for me since progression raiding in TBC and high level PVP.

I mean if you're going to PVP it still has some niches that require you to keep a close eye on things. But other than that it's a joke now TBH. Blood sail Admiral All 3 specs have some sort of complexity... Asia and outlaw are probably on the easier side of things but even there with some talent there's always room for better play . Sub still has a good amount of complexity to it. I personally think it has higher skill cap than the old version especially with the right talent setup...

Nope, after they destroyed the complexity of subtitle, it ain't hard to master I call total BS on this ... Sub with deeper stratagem (witch is the optimal 110 talent is harder or equal in terms of complexity than old sub...

Playing perfectly around master of Sub and trinkets props without over capping SD charge. Sub still has wonderful amount of complexity and high skill cap... Old sub outside of set bonus is overhype in terms of difficulty...

Pooling for Dance and keeping 1 ability and a buff rolling. I'll bet you a glass of pure acid changes will be made though.

Another thing is that without vigor, you can't possibly pool enough energy for Shadow Dance to reach its full potential. Which in the longer run, doesn't really sound like a trade off worth considering for just 30% more evil damage every so often.

Now sure, the current class trinkets affect this by a very large margin, and they will probably find a way to not make those relevant in the next raiding tier, but even without it evil isn't competing with shadow strike for tops. I'll bet you a glass of pure acid changes will be made though.

It's hard to tell what will happen for sure but right now it's looking like a lot of our DMG is going to switch from shadow strike to finisher cause of the lost of classes trinket.

I would not be surprised to see a build with Night stalker & deeper stratagem for max finisher DMG... Vigor is strong cause class trinket and subterfuge... Our mastery also make it so finisher are going to scale better with gear than our other abilities.

Rogues have always been easy to pick up, combo point build and spender system is pretty intuitive to most players. There is always complexity in squeezing out most DPs and rogue/melee have a few more additional tools to learn like avoiding cleave damage and always attacking from beside to not get parries, so in a way all those things are simple, but they can be done really well.

Through my years on rogue the times I would consider difficult and skillful play I would count as vanishing a warlocks' death coil and not getting hit. Kicking in burning temple, the boss with 3 different heads, cant remember name ATM but back in the day the cast was super quick and he also cast a spell you didn't want to kick as well.
