Siren head is just an original character created by Trevor, and has no basis in history or myth. So no, you don't need to keep yourself up at night worrying your next trot through the woods will be met with a towering killer alarm.

The game follows the inhabitants of a nuclear fallout shelter, and the mod introduces the lanky creature as a monster you can try to defeat. There's also a spinoff game, just called Siren Head, that can be played on PC.

Popular gaming YouTubers like Multiplier and Jacksepticeye have played it on their channels, delving into the content and lore of the creature. Fans of the creature have taken it one step further, using CGI to put it into videos and posting them to TikTok.

Siren Head, who is sometimes called Lamp Head (occasionally written as Siren head or Siren -Head and Lamp head or Lamp-Head) and by many other names, is a hostile cryptid and urban legend created by the Canadian horror artist Trevor Henderson. It is a tall mysterious humanoid creature that is known for its odd appearance and the various sounds that emanate out of its head, which consists of a metallic pole with sirens attached to it.

While its body is made out of organic veins, wizened old skin and wires, which are spiraled on its torso and neck. Trevor Henderson also explained that Siren Head's appearance varies with each witness.

Siren Head is a physical entity, but its anatomy and existence are terrifying and meaningless to us. The information changes all knowledge we have on Siren Head, which opens various theories about the creature.

Despite the teeth in its speakers, Siren Head does not eat, meaning that it may not actually be a predator in the traditional sense, though there is contradictory evidence in this regard. There have also been conflicting reports on whether Siren Head is a lone being or whether an entire species.

When asked if people have survived the creature, or if Siren Head has had any worshipers, Trevor simply responded with a smiley face. Siren Head is a very aggressive, monstrous and skilled predator, which makes it very dangerous.

It seems to have some degree of intelligence due to using tactics such as camouflaging within forests and mimicking sounds like voices to hide from and lure its prey. Other than that, nothing much else is known about Siren Head’s way of thinking, though unconfirmed theories suggest it is the last of its kind and so might have a strong will to survive.

It is possible that the entity developed its camouflage abilities in order to hide from even more dangerous beings, though again this is not confirmed. Thus, while weapons are not known to work on Siren Head, its need to conceal its attacks and generally elusive behavior imply that there may be some way of harming it, or at least interrupting its activity.

One of the later possible sightings of Siren Head includes a news story describing the aftermath of an unusual, never-before-seen killing tactic. For unknown reasons, Siren Head chose to kill many of the people in a town/neighborhood by bursting their eardrums and soft tissues.

It is not known whether Siren Head produces a specific sound to cause such an effect, or if it simply made noises that were loud enough to do so. This is a departure from its previous behavior, as it normally only stalks and kills individuals or small groups.

It is possible that this multi-headed version of Siren Head is a subspecies, or simply a design update, though Trevor has confirmed neither theory. When mimicking a human, a distinctive distortion in the voices is always present, due to the sounds being played through sirens instead of vocal cords or other organic means of creating noise.

One report claims that Siren Head was able to kill a group of people by mimicking their friend's voice. Another post’s caption suggests Siren Head can use its broadcast to block out the cries of its victims.

The latest sighting shows a five-headed Siren Head using its loud sounds to possibly kill off many people, as they were found with burst eardrums and soft tissues. Strength : It is believed that Siren Head is extremely powerful due to its size.

According to the story, Siren Head started running towards them at an extremely rapid pace. It can stay motionless for days at a time to blend in with its surroundings, with Trevor mentioning on his Tumblr that Siren Head can cling to ceilings sometimes to make its body blend in with the wires and look like a PA system, stating that he might have used this tactic to take several people in Detroit.

Trevor mentioned on his Tumblr that Siren Head once possibly disguised itself as a piece of home furnishing or pipes in the walls to kidnap a family of four. It was able to somehow take them from their home in its new form or lure them from without having to enter, as the only sign of their disappearance was the open backyard patio door.

Combined with its ability to change its body, it can be surprisingly effective in disguising itself as things such as telephone poles and lamp posts. Trevor has said that Siren Head can pop in its limbs towards its body, extend its midsection and even cover its arms with wires to disguise itself as a telephone pole, remaining motionless for days to sell the trick.

The original audio was created in 2011 from the actual American Emergency Alert System, which is meant to allow authorities to address the public through television and radio broadcasts. When the populace was interviewed, they thought at first that another NATO bombing campaign was taking place, due to the ongoing efforts at the time to push Serbian forces out of Kosovo, but became increasingly confused as no bombs or jets were heard.

One person reported seeing what looked like an out-of-place siren on a hill near a graveyard, approximately 10 minutes before the sounds began. Multiple witnesses called in the CPD when a tornado siren started blaring unexpectedly at night, seemingly from the direction of Willow Springs Woods.

When the CPD arrived at the scene, the sound had stopped and the source could not be located. Both wallets still had their contents in them, along with IDs: one belonging to Joachim Müller and the other to Bruno Löffler.

Siren Head was created by Trevor Henderson, who is known for making various bizarre creatures over the internet. His other creations include Cartoon Cat, the Country Road Creature, the Bridge Worms, the Man with the Upside-Down Face, the Smile Room, the Good Boy, the Lamb, the Man in the Red Room, the Fetid King, the Giants and Long Horse.

Although it commonly does produce sounds mentioned previously, Siren Head can also remain silent at will in order to avoid detection. Henderson has confirmed that Siren Head and Long Horse are aware of one another, possibly being enemies due to their different views on humanity.

Henderson confirmed that Siren Head is the only one of its species when he responded to an ask on Tumblr about his creations possibly being part of a species; he name-drops Siren Head, Long Horse, Bones worth and Mr. Siren Head and by extension, the rest of Trevor Henderson’s art, has recently gained much more fame due to videos created by YouTubers, such as: PewDiePie, Multiplier, Jacksepticeye, CoryxKenshin, LaurenzSide, 8-BitRyan, and many others playing the Siren Head game and exploring more of the lore and other creatures created by Henderson.

Henderson has responded to an ask on Twitter on how Siren Head could resemble tech from the 90s or 2000s in ancient times. Maybe our eyes just show us the closest approximation to what's actually there and this ‘fits’.” This could possibly mean that Siren Head changes itself depending on the era it is in order to blend in more easily, or that what we see is not its real form, but the closest thing the human mind can associate with it.

Henderson has stated Siren Head does not actually need eyes, ears, a nose, or the ability to feel vibrations to be able to find prey due to its supernatural nature. Trevor Henderson confirmed himself that Siren Head is not of this reality, with the fact that it is not just an extraterrestrial from another dimension, but plausibly multiple beings that share a collectivist consciousness.

In 2018, Henderson revealed that a Siren Head action figure is being made for sale, created by toy maker and designer Jeff D'Octavio. Others have been creating their own versions of the action figure, publishing their work on YouTube and other social platforms.

Henderson implied that Siren Head and Cartoon Cat are enemies of Long Horse and the Lamb. Additionally, he said that Siren Head and Cartoon Cat come from “the void” in the same post.

Like its numerous creepy pasta predecessors, such as the Slender Man, Smile Dog, and The Rake, the Siren head is a kind of online cryptid that has entangled the internet in its web of fear. Despite only first appearing in August 2018, this frightening, faceless monster has become a hub of internet folklore and content creation.

It’s captured the imagination of thousands, appearing in countless pieces of fan art and even popular indie games. Siren head is the creation of Canadian illustrator and master of horror Trevor Henderson, better known by his online handle of SlimySwampGhost.

Henderson is internet horror royalty and is also no stranger to creating horrifying online cryptids. The Smile Room, a toothy nightmare hidden inside an abandoned bowling alley.

In the photo, taken at a distance, we see the imposing figure of Siren head looming over an old, abandoned graveyard. If this wasn’t creepy enough for you, the photo came with the following terrifying caption: “She was on vacation with her husband, and they were scoping out graveyards on the way, as you do when she saw it.

After Siren head made his debut, thousands of people chimed in response, stating just how scary and captivating they found this strange new creature. In his first Twitter thread on the subject, Henderson stated that Siren head is the static physical form of an unfathomable supernatural entity.

But, as you’ll soon find out, that doesn’t mean you’re any safer tucked away at home in the burbs… In the second Tweet about Siren head, Henderson shared a frightening image of the creature lurking in someone’s backyard. The quiet suburbs are actually one of Siren head’s favorite hunting grounds, as shown by the next frightening found photo shared.

The fact that Siren head can also perfectly disguise itself as a normal streetlamp just adds another dimension of terror to the creature. Though Henderson himself has mentioned that he sees Siren head as more of a manifestation than a simple animal, and it doesn’t, therefore, abide by the same set of physical rules that creatures from our plane of existence are forced to conform to.

Because of this, the true extent of Siren head’s power is unknowable, especially considering that so many who encounter it doesn’t seem to live to tell the tale. Siren head quickly became a worldwide sensation thanks to an unlikely force: Online indie video games.

While neither of these games was an immediate smash hit back in 2018, they found a second life a couple of years later after being picked up by a number of prominent YouTubers. From here, Siren head’s popularity exploded to unprecedented levels. He quickly became the subject of countless creepy pasta short horror stories the world over, as well as hundreds or even thousands of pieces of fan art.

This dapper, faceless, internet boogeyman was created by Eric Knudsen in 2009, but quickly spun into a phenomenon with a life of its own, as you can find out in one of our other videos, “How A Meme (Slender man) Became Real.” The dark ending of the Slender Man saga was a near-fatal stabbing supposedly inspired by the character in 2014, and a pretty lame movie adaptation four years later.
