In this guide, we’re going to show you where to find horse gear in KingdomCome Deliverance. Horse head armor can be found east of Ledetchko on a cliff.
Invest in a better saddle if you are planning on putting every newly found item into your horse's inventory. Sadly, even the lower quality horseshoes are rather pricey which means that you will have to gather a lot of money before you buy the best ones.
Besides the elements of equipment mentioned above you can also get pieces of armor for your horse. Pieces of armor that can be placed in the “Head protection” section aren't offered by any of the traders.
The starting point of your climb is located near the path that runs along the river. Start a little to the west (an example is presented in the picture) and use a Savior Schnapps BEFORE you jump down for the first time.
Regardless of path you chose, you finally reach the big nest with a dead horse presented in the picture. Henry isn’t the only person that deserves decent protection, as it is totally possible and recommended getting KingdomCome Deliverance Horse Body Armor.
This way, your horse will always be protected as you charge into battle against enemy soldiers and bandits. As of right now, we only know of one specific piece of KingdomCome Deliverance Horse Body Armor that you can find in the game.
The first step in getting the KingdomCome Deliverance Horse Body Armor is traveling to Ledetchko. Check your map and travel along the river that runs just north out of the town.
Partway down the side of the cliff is a large nest that contains the KingdomCome Deliverance Horse Body Armor. Just like Henry, horses can be outfitted with custom gear and armor to improve their capabilities.
Once you get a horse of your own, you’ll want to find horse armor as soon as possible to protect your trusty steed from harm, at least on its head. In this guide, we’ll explain where you can track down some free horse armor in KingdomCome : Deliverance.
Except for the caparison, each of these gear pieces come with their own benefits and can improve your horse ’s capabilities. Head armor for your horse can be found atop a cliff east of Ledetchko.
Approach the edge of the cliff, making sure to save your game ahead of time in case you fall and die while trying to retrieve the horse armor. The horse head armor called Chanson and Brinier helps defend against stabbing, slashing, and blunt attacks, while the Noble Bridle is purely cosmetic.
Currently, there isn’t any horse body armor in KingdomCome : Deliverance, at least not that we’ve found yet. Armor is a critical component of Henry’s gear in KingdomCome : Deliverance.
In each of these categories, it ranks the lowest in terms of Slash, Stab, and Blunt resistance out of all the sets. Overall, the Polish armor is an early to mid-game set that is fairly easy to replace later on.
The Saxon set has pieces for the Body Garment, Gloves, Arm Armor, and Leg Plate slots. But compared to other sets, its only real advantage is that it tends to be cheaper at the cost of lesser protection.
Masses consists of only two pieces for the Leg Plate and Arm Armor which is largely why it ranks quite low. Masses requires many other pieces to provide full-body protection, making it a mediocre set.
Aachen Gauntlets are the second-best Gloves in the game and the Brigantine Chassés are among the best Leg Plates. Even the Body Plate and Gloves are strong, though there are a dozen or so pieces that outclass them.
It’s another popular choice for fans thanks to the six options for Body Plate offering a variety of colors. No one piece is the best at anything, but each ranks fairly high in terms of protection in each slot.
As a result, Milanese is often used fashionably while still offering solid protection for the wearer. The Dark Milanese Brigantine has a special place for dark-minded role players.
The Augsburg set consists of Gloves, Arm Armor, and Leg Plate pieces. The other advantage to the Augsburg set is that it provides solid Charisma boosts.
In fact, the Arm Armor and Leg Plate pieces are the best in their respective categories. Admittedly, it’s not the best armor in categories outside of Helmet or Leg Chain mail, in fact, it’s just above average.
But the main perk of this set is that it’s the only complete one that doesn’t need non-set pieces to provide full-body protection. The set is also unique in that it requires winning the Rattan Tourney five times to obtain all the pieces.
Admittedly, Soul does require other sets to round it out, in fact, either the Lords of Lap or Warhorse are good candidates for this. So far the only piece of horse equipment I can repair is the caparison which can be brought to a tailor. I can buy a new saddle and bridle from the stablemasters, but they don’t give me an option to repair either.
EISTI February 21, 2018, 12:58am #4Try equipping from the horse and taking it in your own inventory but I remember repairing it somewhere I’ve tried leaving the saddle and bridle equipped, putting them in my inventory, and leaving them in the horses inventory and I haven’t gotten the option to repair it from any of the different merchants or stable masters.
This was from release version to before 1.2.5 as I haven’t got home from work to update to 125 I looked everywhere and I believe there isn’t an option yet to repair horse gear, but everything seems to be in place to complete that mechanic.
Even on current 1.3.3 version horse equipment cannot be repaired by player or blacksmith, the solution seems to buy new horse equipment from time to time, but repair features needs a fix. There is no option in the game at this time (that I have found in my 2 play lines) to repair the saddle and other horse equipment, besides the caparison.
Qx403 March 19, 2018, 11:59am #14It doesn’t change its stats so it’s pointless, a sadly carries a certain amount of weight and doesn’t lower because it degrades, same with horse shoes, there is no point in fixing them. That is true, but then the condition stat should be removed from the game for horse related equipment.
Leper March 27, 2018, 9:09am #16With my horse and PC both reduced in weight to be nowhere near the capacity of my horse my character rides super slow and glitchy. I’ve even deleted 3 other games off the hard-drive just to make this one have no excuse but to perform better.
I’ve been waiting for a realistic RPG with no magic junk for years. I hope they fix horse gear in next patches, ability to repair gear or penalties if is damaged, considering it as armor equipment, seems a bug to me or incomplete feature.
