The 825 GB SSD allows ultra-fast load times, while 3-D audio output produces crisp acoustics. This Sony PlayStation 5 gaming console supports haptic feedback for effortless communication in multiplayer setups, and adaptive triggers allow immersive gameplay.
Sort most RelevantMost Helpfulness RecentOldestHighest RatingLowest Rating It was quite difficult to pre-order the PS5, but I truly lucked out because even with all the restocks certain retailers have had... it is still unbelievably hard to place the order.
I hope anyone that still wants one gets one soon because it really is unfair that the gamers aren't able to land one whilst scalpers have thousands. Even after hours of gaming, I did not feel any fatigue in my hands.
Overall, the console runs very smoothly, and I have not experienced any sort of loudness with it. I do recommend when playing games, to choose performance over the resolution.
You will absolutely get a higher FPS and I think it just runs a lot better that way. Would highly recommend this to anyone that wants to experience next gen even though we've just merely begun to play those games.
After that it was just a speedy process of showing them the code and ID then BOOM, PS5 was in my possession JUST LIKE THAT. I LOVE the lights that come through the console/controller and the haptic feedback/adaptive trigger features.
One of my FAVORITE parts is how LONG the charging cord is, this was the BIGGEST make or break for me. Game looks SO GOOD and download SO FAST.
I LOVE the glass looking buttons on it and the grip on the sides. Console is BEAUTIFUL, the neon lights look SO GOOD at night.
I like how it's basically a built-in fan to keep it running smooth for eternity. And the base is made to keep it propped up and make sure that the console gets air.
YouTube runs SO SMOOTH and you can watch videos in 4K. Games run at a steady frame rate, load times are basically instantaneous and the controller is something you really have to feel for yourself to understand how immersive it makes the experience.
You then have to either disconnect the external storage device or simply open another game and close out for that disc to be read. It's probably the worst issue Sony could have given that the PS5 only has 600 something GB of storage after the OS is installed to begin with.
There are a lot of people trying to get hold of these right now but with this issue it wouldn't be a bad idea to wait a few months until it's resolved. In all I'm giving it 5 stars because it really is an amazing console, I just hope they can fix the external storage bug with an update.
The PS5 is hands down the best gaming console to ever hit the market. You can see fine details and shadows and contrasts like never before on PlayStation products.
The only thing we had to do that was slightly abnormal was put the PS5 behind our TV, so it could stay as cool and get as much air as possible. You don’t want to run your PS5 and restrict air flow.
I added to cart for curbside pickup at my local Best Buy & their verification process to place the order was amazing. Unlike other websites with the next gen console releases.
The system is REALLY fast. Like I'm already feeling spoiled by the lack of loading time. Anything that takes more than 5 seconds is making me impatient nowadays.
I admit a 40' screen isn't huge, but next to this behemoth of a system it just looks tiny. Lastly, if you have a PS4, keep it connected to your TV until you complete the initial installation process for your PS5.
Sony's flagship gaming system has arrived with all the hype solidified. The PlayStation 5 is a true next generation gaming console.
Intricately designed for absolute quiet gaming and heat flow, boasting an intuitive dashboard in full 4K and HDR, extremely fast on-board SSD for lighting fast game downloads and loading, and Sony's specific evolutionary game controller. It does have an expansion slot for NVMe drives to expand the storage.
You can still plug in any external drive to play your PS4 games. Sony provides a high speed HDMI 2.1 connection for your smart TV, but I recommend buying an Ultra High speed HDMI 2.1 to future proof for when you upgrade your smart TV with HDMI 2.1 connections.
Currently, 4K 60FPS(frame per second) is excellent on my smart TV HDMI 2.0 but if you want 4K 120FPS, then a future smart TV HDMI 2.1 upgrade is optional. I CAN'T put it into words, you have to feel it to understand the jaw dropping gleeful rush you get from using it.
.... The 3D audio also had me turning around in real life wondering what was behind me lol. I will say, There are a lot of software bugs and issues like the system crashing and restarting, although there have already been a couple of updates that have fixed the stability issues for the most part.
The UI definitely takes some getting use too, but parties with friends are annoying to set up, and I hate how trophy lists scroll from left to right now. These are things that can be fixed in the future and luckily there aren't any hardware issues.
The Danseuse controller on the Sony PlayStation 5 brings a realistic tactile feel to your hands as you get immersed in a game. You can't edit or delete your questions on here which I think is not right, but let me state some facts...
I own a PS5 and I have made 3 YouTube videos that proves the PS5 will not go over 60fps and in some cases just over 30fps if you don't have a TV that supports HDMI 2.1 Over 90% of TVs don't have this tech, so if you think for one second you're getting the best frames and picture you better go do some more research. I repeat: If you don't have a TV that supports 2.1 you can kiss your dreams goodbye if you think you'll get 120fps in 4K.
Kind of bad knowing you own a PS5 and can't see what it can really do..... Name-calling and thinking you're better than someone only proves you have no integrity. I had the worst pre-order experience with Best Buy and will likely not shop for games... here again.
