Funky music, DJ's at weekends & simply the best location! Check it out! Lovely menu that is surprisingly extensive for a beach bar on the sand.
I'd called in for a snack and a drink a few days before and saw the ad for a New Year's Eve party, so I made inquiries and was told that if I wanted food I would have to book a table but if it was just a drink then it wasn't necessary. I thought why not, it sounded good, food, 80s disco then see the New Year in the traditional Spanish way with grapes and cave. The staff were very friendly as always, the food was OK but the 80s disco was none existent.
The grapes and cave which were provided free of charge were good, it's more difficult than you think, eating one grape for each chime. I have been back a couple of times since for a drink and snack and although it is a little overpriced for the food, the view is great. Reviewed October 1, 2021 via mobile I find it amazing so many people still Que to get in this place. The paella has the least amount of trinkets in it than almost anywhere the servers' paella. The oil used is the cheapest. Apparently you can have more plates if you eat...your first. If you are an all-you-can-eat family fill your boots. Otherwise avoid at all costs. More Reviewed August 31, 2021 via mobile This place is famous because you can have refill for the paella and it's only 8 euro.
Reviewed August 30, 2021 This chiringuito is the best place to eat paella in Era. It has been there for decades and was started by the iconic, national treasure AYO.
Reviewed July 15, 2021 via mobile We’ve tried to stay away but the lure of the paella is just too much! Friendly staff, great food, simple & fresh.
Reviewed March 8, 2021 Very busy with locals and family groups but got seated without a problem. The rustic cooking of the paella in huge pans over wood was what drew us in.
Loved that you could keep going back to get your plate topped up making this excellent...value at only 8 Euros. Found another good place and returned to AYO the following week.
Cracking paella and couldn’t believe that people were allowed to go back for second helpings, ...and all for 8 euros. You can watch the chicken sizzling away and the rest of the ingredients added over a blazing hot fire in...an enormous pan.
Saffron colored rice with chicken and prawns, peppers etc. The Paella was good but the wine price per glass by far the most expensive.
Would never go back even though the food was good and since they do not take credit cards. Reviewed February 26, 2021 via mobile This is a great no frills place just on the beach and authentic ...

In recent years, we have seen how mojito bars have become popular along our coast, making it the most in-demand summer drink. Refreshment stalls, restaurants and late-night bars prepare their best recipes, to which they add strawberries, watermelon, coconut or blueberries to give it more flavor.
