There are entire kilometers of parking space along the road, so you can easily stop the car and explore the dunes or go to the beach. If it's your first time in Fuerteventura, we recommend you stop at various places along the way, to walk around the dunes, go to the various beaches and see the difference in landscape and view.

On some portions of the Natural Park the road is very close to the beach, and you only have to walk for a few steps from your car, while on other sections you have to cross the big dunes in order to reach the ocean. Although confused with the more popular Ezquino-Butihondo, Aquino beach is located on the northern side of Fuerteventura. This beach is six kilometers from the nearest town, making it a great place to fully relax and unwind.

Regular boat trips leave from Corral to the tiny Logos Island daily. A short 10-minute ferry journey brings tourists into a new world of protected natural landscapes.

The island is pretty small, and it takes only a couple of hours to explore it, but there are many secluded beaches to enjoy and coves to wander. AJU beach’s popularity is due mostly to the contrast between the blue water and the pitch black sand.

Swimming here is not recommended because of the torrential surge, yet the beach is always crowded and famed for its magnificent scenery. A former fishing village, it retains much of its original charm, with quaint narrow streets, low-rise buildings, and fantastic seafood restaurants.
