These bulls have all been selected to emphasize the performance and maternal traits that will make our customers money. Looking to add to our red power arsenal, we purchased Howard as the high selling bull from the 2018 Davidson Gelbvieh production sale.

Howard’s first sons sold in our 2020 sale and were well-received by both commercial and seed stock producers. We purchased this homozygous black & polled New Horizon son as the high seller from the 2018 Oklahoma Sooner Select sale.

We made the decision early on that Legacy had a place in our herd bull lineup. Legacy packs a ton of thickness into his calves, in a phenotypically pleasing package.

We first identified Consensus as a herd sire prospect during the 2019 DGA summer field day at Austin’s. Selling as the high seller in Austin’s 2020 sale, we used Consensus on a mixture of both cows and heifers on his first outing.

Registration Number: #AMGV1289276 Breeder: Was & Brittney Spencer Owner: Prairie Hills Gelbvieh, Gladstone, ND Sire: CTR Sand hills 0065X Dam: Cindy Lou Who ET We purchased Dominance as one of the high selling bulls out of the 2015 Bastrop Ranch sale.

After seeing him in Denver, we appreciated the softness and structure that he offered, while still being a performance oriented bull. As a group, his bull calves offer awesome thickness and performance, while his daughters are always the first ones spotted in the pasture for their depth and capacity.

Moderate framed, incredibly deep ribbed, and an outcross to all American bloodlines. We used Grinder on a variety of cow types this summer, with his first calves arriving the spring of 2021.

His calves have consistently topped our bull sale, and his daughters are becoming the nucleus of our cowherd. He is wide based, thick made, stout, long and sports a tremendous dark red hair coat.

He has the whole package, tremendous length, thickness that runs right through, his top line is good and square, he has strong legs and large feet, and an awesome disposition. This Black Chili yearling was purchased by Anita & Jim Sonora from Edgewood BC at our spring bull sale March 2015.

He was a finalist in the People’s Choice Bull Futurity in Red Deer in November 2013. He is dark cherry red, he comes loaded with performance, thickness, natural muscling and an awesome disposition.

We were impressed by his Dam SLC Reba 112Y, she has the whole package great body structure, wonderful udder, and she is very stylish. By looking at his body structure and knowing his pedigree we are hoping that he makes some strong females for the Jen-Ty program.

Chili has loads of thickness as well and great body structure with a very dark red hair coat so this should be an amazing cross. EV GEM DANDY 72T Sire: EV MIGHTY DANDY 8Y EV KARI'S HUMALOG 8W SLC ROY BEAN 141U Dam: SLC REBA 112Y SLC PAM 81U Jen-Ty Fearless 41Y Reg# CDGV142854 | DOB : 03-18-11 Jen-Ty Fearless is a powerful build, long sided bull who has exceptional muscle expression in a moderate, smooth made package.

His sire Constellation T310 ET has given the Jen-Ty program some awesome females that are producing some amazing calves. Fearless has had two progeny make it to the finals at the Peoples Choice Bull futurity the last two years.

ASA #: 2847534 Birth Date: 9-28-2013Homozygous Black / Homozygous Polled1/2 SM 7/16 AN 1/16 MX 231A was a standout as a yearling during the summer months of 2014 at Red Hill Farms.

J Bar J Night ride 225Z is an exciting addition to Red Hill Farms. Night ride rose to the top in the group of bulls at Great Lakes Beef Connection.

He possesses the moderate frame and thickness we demand with an awesome set of Ends. Owned with J Bar J Ranch (MI) and Gibbs Farms (AL).

29G is a super slick haired son of 15E that is moderate in frame size with excellent foot and leg structure. 15E and her dam (255-184 aka W3) have stellar production records in the Red Hill program.

15E produced 28 good embryos when flushed as a 2-year-old and several of her sons will be in the 2021 Red Hill spring sale. W3 produced the Beacon son that started the Sim Angus offering in the 2020 Red Hill spring sale going to Dixon Farms, Cole Cattle Co., and Wood co Cattle Co. in Alabama.

We were very appreciative for Mike and Brian Rogue studying our cattle and coming to buy this bull. We have strived to maintain exceptional growth while adding lots of ribs and body in a moderate-framed package.

His performance ratios were 94 BWR, 114 WAR, 110 BWR, 127 IMF, and 110 REA. His dam and her paternal sisters by 36X are a great group of young cows at Red Hill.

The calves are small at birth with excellent vigor and are the slickest-haired sire group at Red Hill. The maternal granddad is an outstanding daughter of Red Coat and has a great udder.

86C’s paternal granddad, 54P, is the most influential cow in our Red Angus program. 86C is essentially unrelated to most of the Simmental breed with NO Shear Force, Legacy, or Premium Beef, and he is only a great-grandson of 701T.

ASA #: 2606048 Birth Date: 2-22-2011Homozygous Black / Homozygous Polled5/8 SM 3/8 AN “Lot 7 (734Y) is a real complete bull out of a model Lucky Charm cow.

Additionally, 734Y is moderate framed, easy fleshing and sound structured. Wally impressed us with his exceptional performance ratios and the phenotype we desire.

Tom Hook described Wally as “one of the heaviest muscled and soundest structured with a quiet disposition, great appetite, and boasts herd changing carcass and index profile.” We have been impressed by Shear Force’s calving ease when used at Red Hill Farms. Couple this with the high accuracy carcass genetics of Future Direction, and we were pleased to add Wally to the Red Simmental mix at Red Hill Farms.

Another bonus is that the Wally daughters are as rescue adaptable as any cattle in our system. 106W’s cow family was very well-received in the 2013 Hook’s Bred for Balance sale.

Red Coat posted impressive individual performance data, low birth weight (81 pounds), 112 WR, and 111 YR. Red Coat’s massive thickness was evidenced by his 16.02 REA (122 ratio). In the Gateway Sale of 235 bulls, Red Coat had the 4th largest REA in the entire offering.

“Our #1 WW bull calf for 2010 was a son (GW Red Coat 099TS) at almost 950 pounds. 102A was selected for use at Red Hill due to his outstanding individual performance (113 WAR, 104 BWR, 113 IMF, 111 REA).
