Wells Fargo CEO apologizes for diversity comments My helmet just broke, and I need a new one of those too, so I don't really have the money for an expensive cinch.

I use a Weaver 15 strand Rayon Smart Cinch, and I love it! I like the Rayon or Mohair ones because they breathe a lot better than a nylon or a neoprene cinch does.

You pay a lot more for one, but I've heard some good reviews on them. I have the neoprene straight smart cinch, and it works fine for barrel racing.

Personally cinches don't matter much to me, and buying one that's overpriced is a waste. As long as it's not sliding around everywhere, it's made of strong material, and you have a trusty back cinch on, you'll be fine.

Its especially great for the summer when your horse is sweating it absorbs the sweat, and it's easy to clean! Running a perfect pattern, with a fast time, takes patience, practice, preparation and skill.

An important first step in beginning the sport of barrel racing is selecting the proper equipment for you and your horse. A barrel racing horse must be able to fully utilize their body with comfortable freedom in order to perform at their peak.

There are many kinds of boots and each type does a specific job, protecting different parts of your horse’s leg and hoof. Leg gear comes in a variety of colors and patterns, but don’t be distracted by the visual appearance; the goal is to provide the proper protection and support for your equine athlete.

They cover the cannon bone from just below the knee or hock and envelope the fetlock joint. They have a sling-like strap that runs behind and under the fetlock to offer extra support and prevent hyperextension of the joint.

While polo wraps are often used at upper levels of competition, it is not appropriate for 4-H members to use these as leg protection. When not used correctly, polo wraps can do more damage to the horse’s legs than good.

Polo wraps are also more likely to come unwrapped during competition, which can be very dangerous and cause injury to horse and rider. Riders must respect the control they gain with the bit equipment they choose.

I have two Five-Star pads that I purchased for my barrel horse Popcorn. My old hand me down barrel saddle didn't fit correctly, and he was sore in his back.

“This book is very beneficial for both the beginner, and the advanced rider. I love Heather and the way she works with horses...

I had goose bumps from head to toe and was brimming with confidence! He was barely getting by with no effort because he had no bond and no reason to want to please.

I had a plan going in that I was going to concentrate on getting my mare focused and keep her feet moving. I had a plan going in that I was going to concentrate on getting my mare focused and keep her feet moving.

All I did was stay off her head and use my body more to rate and turn as you suggested. I think that was my biggest problem and was why you noticed the hesitation she had before the turns.
