Last lot was Ultratape Rhino Yellow Edge Tape, was ok. Two questions... 1) Anyone got a better suggestion? 2) If not, then suggestions for supplier for best price for Edge Tape Yellow please as I can't find where I last got it.
Box of 36 to many for you at £1.50 a roll... I like the pink delicate to. Yellow here Should have added. Machine mart sell your rhino tape now. Q1 yellow.good value I think Your rhino tape £3.60. Maybe local store to.
I’m mainly using @decoratingdirect’s Fossa’s True Mask range. The Q1 is decent but for me it's just a good general purpose masking tape.
Another one here for the @decoratingdirect yellow and blue tapes use them more than any others now and can’t fault them. It does lay nice and flat, but find curls too much when wet.
I find the yellow fossa leaves a sticky residue so not keen. But the Q1 precision and delicate are very good along with their general purpose one.
I think test is the best, but cost puts me off so can't use all the time. I'll be using test this week on some glass. If you're happy with a Rhino stick with it.
Box of 10, 25 mm rhino tape £25 inc free delivery. That's a good price. Tempted myself. Blue is good for feature wall colored edges etc.
I’ve tried a few, but I always end back with Frog Green. Sticks nicely to carpet and is robust enough that you can tuck down without it busting.
In his writings and Trade Secrets, Dan Brewing often mentions “sign painter's tape for protecting guitars while working. Regular masking tape is a poor choice for this because its aggressive stickiness can pull up pieces of vintage finish.
Extra low tack, 3" width: Use the 3" (76.20 mm) wide tape to mask large areas during fretwork, finishing or repairs. Low tack, 1" width: Choose the 1" (25.4 mm) tape for masking fretboards or small areas during finish touch ups.
Extra-wide inner spool keeps the tape edges from touching your bench, so they won't pick up dirt and filings. This tape has a moderate to low tack adhesive that can be removed without damaging paper surfaces or leaving behind a sticky residue.
From my personal experience, here are the 10 best adhesives to use on your next paper craft project. You simply roll it onto your project and tape comes off from the dispenser either in a smooth line or dots, depending on which you prefer.
Keep in mind that there are usually no second chances with double-sided adhesive because it is very strong and may tear your project once it’s stuck on there. I like using this double-sided adhesive for adhering acetate for shaker windows, using it with glitter or foil, and having a whole double-sided sheet for die cuts.
You can also use regular painter’s tape on heavier weight card stock. I have this huge roll of foam tape because I go through a lot, and it’s the best deal in my opinion.
Foam tape is also increasingly popular with interactive cards or paper crafts, for uses in sliders or pull tabs. Stick Glue Good old-fashioned stick glue is the kind you can use for your kids arts and crafts projects with construction paper.
It’s not the best for longevity though, so I wouldn’t recommend it for cards or scrapbook pages. However, for the occasional paper crafting with little ones, its low cost and easy of use is perfect.
If you’re adding fabric, ribbon, or metal embellishments, or anything heavy, now it is the time for hot glue. Remember that when hot glue sets, it becomes rigid and may crack under pressure.
There is a grown-up version of this glue with a precision tip for projects that need more permanent hold. Always test out your tip on scrap paper before putting to your project, so you don’t get a big explosion of unwanted glue.
Glossy accents also add dimension and make for a very shiny appearance. You can also use a regular hold adhesive spray as well for adhering things like intricate die cuts.
